How
do I get Clear-Site?
A
Simply
fill out your details on our signup
page and we will set up your trial within hours. We will send you
an email with the URL to your trial site and your password to log in
to the admin section.
After the 30 day
trial, you decide whether you want to keep the software and subscribe
to the service. If you do, we will register your domain name and
transfer your content and files to your new website so you will not
lose any of your settings from your trial. If, after the 30 day trial,
you decide that Clear-Site isn't for you then we simply remove your
trial site. There are no charges whatsoever.
The
yearly subscription is €299. This includes your web hosting, domain
name registration, rental of the software, email and of course free
upgrades and support. For less than €1
a day you can create, manage and update your website easily without
needing any knowledge of web servers, programming, HTML, javascript,
DNS, POP3 ... All you have to worry about is updating the content.
If you choose to go
for the pro option, there is an extra cost of €200.
This is a one off payment and the yearly subscription will remain at €299.
Once
your order has been submitted from the signup
page we will start working on setting up your trial immediately.
When all the files are copied over to your trial site and installation
is complete we will send you an email with your admin password for
your site and you are free to log in from that moment. Typically all
of the above will take no longer than 5 hours.
If you choose the pro
option we will need to analyse your needs and preferences before we
start to create your site. This will typically take a day or so. After
the analysis has taken place we will begin to design your site (create
your header images, buttons, menus etc.). If you like we can put in
some content that you give us. All in all, a Clear-Site pro website
will be set up in 3-5 days depending on the complexity.

How
does the free trial work?
A
You
place your order on the signup
page. We will email you within hours to inform you where your
trial site and how to log in to the admin section. For the next 30
days you are free to try out the software and see what you like and
don't like. You can create a fully functional website in this time.
After the 30 days are up you decide if you want to keep the
software or not. If you do decide to keep it, we will email you with
instructions on how to purchase the package. After the order goes
through we will register your preferred domain name and set up your
website. None of your trial data will be lost.
If you decide that
you don't want Clear-Site, we will simply delete the trial site and
wish you the best of luck!

Will
I lose all content when I move from my trial site to my real site?

No.
We simply transfer your package to the production webspace where your
domain name will be pointing to. When you go to your final website it
will look just like the one you created during your trial.

What
is the difference between Clear-Site basic and Clear-Site pro?
A
Clear-Site
pro is an extension of basic. You get the exact same software package,
exact same support and upgrade options etc. The only difference is
that with pro we will create your site for you. Our design team have
access to some of the most powerful graphics tools to make your site
look and feel as professional as you would expect from an experienced
web design team.
We will of course
consult with you first. We will find out what you do, what you want,
what styles you like and what content you want to publish on your
site. All of this consultancy and professional design time costs just €200
as a one off payment. The ongoing cost will be the same as basic (€299
a year)
The pro option is
extremely popular with business customers.

If I choose pro how long will it take for you guys to create my site?
A
Depending
on the complexity of your business needs, it can take between 3 and 5
days to create your final site. This includes analysis, consultancy
and design of the site. We will give you a template and you can enter
your own content as you wish or we can enter the content that you will
give us.

I think that
I may be eligible for an upgrade, how can I tell?
A
Check
what the latest version is on the version
info page. If the version number is greater than your version
number, you are eligible for an upgrade.
You can find out the
version number of your current Clear-Site package by the admin login
page. Just below the user name and password textboxes, you should see
your version number.
Q
Will the upgrade cost me anything?
A
No.
Existing customers will not be charged

Will I lose any of my settings or content when I upgrade?
A
No.
We work hard at Clear-Soft to make all of our software backward
compatible. All of your old settings, preferences and content will
remain unchanged so you just benefit from the enhancements without
having to worry about the upgrade.

How many email addresses do I get?
A
You
will get 300 POP3 email boxes. That gives you 300 addresses which
should be more than enough for you.
