notice that no two sites look the same and that is down to
the flexibility of the Clear-Site software. Between the
editor options and the style centre features, the only thing
stopping you from creating attractive web pages is your own

The demos

limitation imposed by the software to stop you creating

Multi-User
With Clear-Site you can delegate responsibility for
different sections of your site to different users. Indeed
you can add up as many administrator users as you like and
assign them the permissions they need to maintain their own
sections

multiple users makes it easier to manage bigger sites.

Integrated
WYSIWYG editor
At the heart of any CMS system is an editor. Clear-Site's
editor has been specially designed to make it easier and
quicker for you to create and publish attractive looking
content to your site.
If you have
basic knowledge of modern word processors, then using the

Messageboards,
Guestbooks & Polls
You might feel that websites with just words and images are
a little boring for you. If so, you can spice up your site
with some dynamic pages like messageboards, guestbooks or
polls. By doing so you open up your site to members of the
public to participate in the community that your site stands
for.
Clear-Site
allows you add up as many messageboards, guestbooks or polls
as you like - at no extra cost. We have also built in a
safety feature that allows the site administrator to see
what messages are being submitted and they can screen them
from being posted to the final site if they feel that the
messages are inappropriate.

Enhanced
Security
These days its becoming more and more important to secure
your web site. The admin section of the site can only be
accessed by users authenticated to the system by their
username and password. Unknown third party visitors will not
gain access to the admin section unless they have the
correct username and password. |

Site
Explorer
The
Site Explorer is basicly the backbone of Clear-Site. Like
Windows Explorer allows you to access your computers files
easily, Site Explorer allows a Clear-Site administrator view
the web pages they have access to update in a tree
structure. They can access the individual pages and their
properties by clicking on them form the Explorer. |

Enhanced
Uploads Section
Clear-Site
allows you upload as many images and documents to the system
as you like. You can upload gif & jpeg images along with
word documents, excel spreadsheets, text files, pdf
documents & powerpoint presentations. All of these can
be sourced in through the editor. |

Powerful
Style Module
As you can see from the samples
section, no two clear-site applications look the same. This
is down to the powerful style options built into the system.
You can configure your menu settings, background images
& header images from the style module amongst other
things.
A few
minutes of playing around with the style module should open
your eyes to the professional effects that you can add to
yor site. |

Integrated
Stats Module
A website should be more than a few static pages thrown
together on a server. Clear-Site records statistical
information for the website owners to see who is coming to
their site, how often, and what they look at on the site.
The stats section breaks down your site's hitcount by page
and by month so you can see what your most popular page is
and whether the site is getting busier or not.
Armed with
this information you can change your site to focus your
energy on the most popular pages etc. |

Fully
Audited Log
This
feature is especially useful if you maintain a multi user
admin section. Clear-Site records all changes made to the
site configuration to the log. This gives the master admin
user an idea of who is logging in to the admin section and
what they are doing when they are logged in. |

Integrated
Help Module
At
Clear-Soft we always try to write software thats easy to use
and understand. We do also realise that sometimes the user
will need to consult help. The help file for Clear-Site
contains hundreds of articles describing the system and the
various concepts and features involved. Each screen for the
admin section is documented in detail in the help system
along with tutorials, and hints and tips. You can access the
help system at any time by clicking on the help option on
the admin menu. |

Hosting
included
With
Clear-Site, hosting of the application is included in the
price so you don't have to pay any third party hosting
companies. All of our servers feature fully automated
backups and are to be found locally in Dublin which
increases speed and reliability. What all of this means is
that your website will stand less chance of an outage and in
the event of disaster, your data will not be lost. |

Powerful
Control Panel
Having
access to so many different features and functions could be
overwhelming if it wern't for the easy to use control panel.
Each time you log in to Clear-Site you will be greeted with
the control panel. You should think of the control panel as
a dashboard full of the critical information on your site
without confusing you. So for example you can view user
activity information, outstanding messages and content
details immediately after login without having to select
individual items from the navigation menu. Of course by
clicking on the shortcut associated with each of the control
panel items will show a much more detailed view of the
properties for the item. |

Email
Clear-Site
includes 300 POP3 mailboxes. This will give you plenty of
scope to set up the email accounts that you need to
integrate smooth communication with your website. Visitors
to your site can order items through sales@yourcompany.com,
they can send in a query through info@yourcompany.com or
they can ask and account question through
accounts@yourcompany.com.
All email accounts are guarded by anti-SPAM and anti-Virus
software.
In todays
internet driven society, email is becoming the standard
method of communication. Not only is it cheap and lightening
fast, its also very easy to use. |

Free
Upgrades
At
Clear-Soft we don't like to sit on our laurels for too long
and we are constantly looking to improve our software with
new enhancements. We expect Clear-Site to evolve and grow
over time and we will be offering free upgrades to existing
customers.
At the time of writing, the most stable version of
Clear-Site is 1.1 but check the version
info section of this site for bug fixes and new release
details. The new versions will be backward compatibale so
you won't lose any of your old settings or content when you
upgrade. This will make the transition to new versions
seemless to both you and your sites visitors. |
