Overview
Access this screen through  'Add User' from the 'Users' menu

This screen allows the admin to add new users to the system. From here they can add up new users with attributes such as system name, first name, surname, email, phone number, address & password. They can also initialise the users permissions from the screen.

Field Mandatory Constraints Description

System Name

 Y Text Field between 3 & 20 characters. Must be unique to the system Unique identifier for the user. This name is what the system will use to recognise the user at login etc.

First Name

 Y Text Field between 1 & 20 characters Users first name

Surname

 Y Text Field between 1 & 20 characters Users surname

Email

 N If entered, must be a text field between 1 & 40 characters and must be a valid email address of the form 
xxxxxx@yyyyy.zzz		 Users email address

Phone Number

 N If entered, must be a numeric field between 5 & 20 digits Users phone number

Address(1),(2),(3)

 N Text Field between 1 & 20 characters Users address

Upload access

 Y NA True or false value reflecting whether the user can upload files to the system

Password

 Y Text Field between 5 & 20 characters users password

Confirmed Password

 Y Text Field between 5 & 20 characters. Must match 'Password' above. confirmed users password

Permissions

 N NA Available permissions to assign to the new user
