If you log in to
Clear-Site with the username 'admin' then you are the master
admin user. The master admin user has ownsership of everything
in the admin section and they have access to all the tools to
create and maintain the site.
The master admin
also has to the power to create user accounts. These are for
people who we want to give restricted access to Clear-Site. When
the admin sets up the user account they will specify the user
system name (what they will log in as), the user first name
& surname and their password. They can also specify the
public pages that the user has access to update. The admin can,
if they choose, give the user access to all public pages.
Only the admin
user will have access to create new users, update other users
passwords, delete a user, create new content, update style
settings, view stats & view the system log. No matter how
much permissions they gove to a user, the user will never have
any access to the above functions. Because of this, the user
control panel is a lot less dense than the admin
control panel.
